OCD is a neurobiological condition that affects 1 in 100 adults and 1 in 200 children in the U.S. Symptoms include unwanted thoughts and compulsive behaviors. The gold standard of treatment for OCD is Exposure and Response Prevention.

Panic attacks often seem to come out of nowhere. This creates a big alert response in efforts to prevent the next one from coming around, which often recreates panic. Therapy then focuses on breaking this cycle of panic.
